♥ What Is In A Name?

I love my name.

Shannon Goh Yi Yan.

Shannon.

I do.

I think it's sexy. (Works in bed ;])
It's innocent. (My 4 year old BF's nephew calls me 'Aunty Shannon')
It's smart. (Well, the name literally means 'wise')
It's business.
It's erotic.(Sh- in ANY name cannot go wrong)
It's historical. (Long story)
It's stands.

But I cannot help but to think how different my life would have been had I grow up with another name.

Had I been a Nancy I would have been a specky, skinny child who loves to bake and vacuum.
Had I been a Vanessa I would be an artsy fartsy person who hangs out in museums and galleries.
Had I been an Eliza I would have been a skater girl and goth.
Had I been a Jeffrey, it'd be a different story entirely.

So yeah. Shannon rocks!

♥ When you think of perfection, I hope you think of me.
